Residents of an apartment complex, all from different social classes, fail to pay the rent at the end of the month. They meet in the courtyard to strategize. The uncompromising landlord (Ladji) spends his whole day hunting down the rent money. A game of hide and seek begins. Inside the apartment complex things are becoming increasingly strained amid jealousy, incompatibility, and rising tempers. Still, the tenants must all work together to fight their common enemy: the landlord.
