Established in 2015, DIFFA is a completely independent company led by Alain Modot. With offices in Paris, Abidjan, Yaoundé, and Ouagadougou, it supports the monetization and distribution of cinematic and television works produced by African talents and the diaspora.
To date, 150 producers from 35 African countries have enriched DIFFA’s catalog, representing 1200 hours of content including nearly 100 recent films. 80% of these programs are in French, 20% in English, and other languages such as Lingala and Bambara.
Thus, the co-producers of the movie “NINA,” FONTAINE PRODUCTIONS, CINÉ AFRIKA, and DIFFA WA, collaborated with director Pierre LABA. Shot in Martinique and Ivory Coast, this romantic and comedic film features renowned actors such as Dosso TIEKOUMBA, ABASS, MIKAN, and Jackson M’BRO.
